We have answered a few questions you might have when using our saunas. For more information see what we have shared on our blog or Instagram.
How many people can we be in the different saunas?
The barrel sauna fits 8 good friends, medium tent fits 6 and the large tent fits 10.
Do I need my own towel?
Yes, not only one, but it might be good to have two. One to sit one and one to dry yourselves with.

Can I leave the sauna when the oven is hot?
Yes. Keep the air vent in the oven open so that the wood eventually burns out.
I don't know how to fire up the sauna oven, can I get help with this and other practicalities?
But of course you can. You can also book your own sauna guide.
Can anyone do sauna and cold plunge?
Almost everyone. That said you might want to consult a healthcare provider if you suffer from cardiovascular issues, low blood pressure, respiratory problems or if you are pregnant.
Is there anything I should do to prepare for the sauna?
The most important thing you can do is to hydrate well before a sauna session. Depending on how hard you go, but a rule of thumb is to drink 240 ml of water per 10 minutes in the sauna. This can be done before, during and after the session. You also loose a lot of electrolytes, most importantly sodium and potassium. So, if you put some salt in your water, drink coconut water and finish of with a banana then you should be good.
Is there a cancellation policy?
Yes. If you cancel later than 48 hours before the booking we charge 50%.
Can I use saltwater on the oven stones?
No. The use of saltwater can lead to corrosion and damage over time. Also avoid using chlorinated or chemically treated water, as it can corrode the oven’s components and release harmful fumes when heated.
If possible please use rain water.
Can I use the sauna tent when it is rainy or windy?
Yes, the tents are designed to work during most weather. Just make sure to use the equipment that follow to nail down the sides of the tent.
